With hearts full of gratitude, St. Bernard Seminary Hostel joyfully celebrated its annual Harvest and Bazaar, tagged “Ekenedirichukwu” a heartfelt expression of thanksgiving to God for His sustaining grace, abundant provision, and steadfast care over the seminary community.
The celebration began with a solemn Eucharistic Mass, with Rev. Fr. Godwin Aniakor as the Chief Celebrant, and Rev. Fr. Christopher Onochie and Rev. Fr. Vincent Ekwe as Co-Celebrants. In his homily, Rev. Fr. Christopher Onochie emphasized the importance of always giving thanks to the Lord, reminding the faithful that gratitude should be at the heart of every believer’s life. He referenced the words of Scripture:
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”
Psalm 107:1
The homilist encouraged all present to reflect on God’s enduring goodness and to make thanksgiving a daily act of faith.
It was a blessed day of prayer, celebration, and joyful fellowship, as the seminary community came together to honor and thank the Lord who remains ever faithful.
