The seminarians of St. Bernard Seminary Hostel, Ncatancha Nike, successfully organized their 2026 Sports Fiesta, which was held from Monday, 9th March to Saturday, 14th March 2026. The event brought together seminarians from different houses in a spirit of unity, discipline, and healthy competition. Throughout the week, various sporting activities were held, showcasing the talents, strength, and teamwork of the participants. The fiesta not only promoted physical fitness but also strengthened the bonds of fraternity among the students.

After several days of intense and exciting competition, the Sports Fiesta came to a joyful and fulfilling conclusion. At the end of the events, St. Paul House emerged as the overall winner, having displayed exceptional skill, coordination, and consistency in their performance. St. Charles House secured the second position, followed by St. John House in third place, while St. Michael House came fourth. Each house demonstrated commendable effort and sportsmanship, making the competition lively and memorable.

In his closing remarks, the Rector expressed his heartfelt appreciation to everyone who came to participate in and support the Sports Fiesta. He commended the seminarians for their enthusiasm, discipline, and commitment throughout the competition. He also extended special gratitude to the priests for their constant encouragement and presence, which greatly motivated the students and contributed to the success of the event.

Furthermore, the Auxiliary and the Games Master expressed their sincere thanks to Fr. John Okechukwu, the Games Moderator, for his dedication, coordination, and tireless efforts in ensuring the smooth organization of the Sports Fiesta. They also appreciated all the priests who actively participated in the sporting activities, noting that their involvement added joy, inspiration, and a sense of unity to the entire event.
